Position Overview We are seeking a polished and experienced Sales Associate to join our flagship location in NYC. Ideal candidates are passionate about fashion and lifestyle, with the technical skills and creative eye to back it up. Attitude matters — your positive, authentic, and caring attitude should be the focus point of the service, always making clients understand, providing the maximum knowledge, and putting them first. This is a uniform environment — sales associates will wear Smiley 1972 uniforms, which are part of our gifted branded merchandise. Style and team identity are part of our brand ethos, and we want candidates who feel comfortable and confident working in that kind of setting. Key Responsibilities Represent Smiley 1972 brand at the highest luxury standards Deliver caring, welcoming, and knowledgeable service Inventory management: keep daily track of sales, returns, and recount all inventory in store on a regular monthly basis Daily reporting: end of day sales and customer feedback reports (by email to the management on a daily basis) Returns-to-store management: verify returns for eligibility, restock the item and refund clients Maintain exceptional merchandise display (tidying, folding, ironing when needed): on the floor and in the basement Communicate clearly and warmly with guests and team members Educate clients with the concept storytelling and know how to answer any of their questions behind what Smiley is Who You Are 2+ years of sales experience in fashion, design or lifestyle industry Confident in sales fundamentals (inventory management, POS system, multitasking, storytelling) Strong aesthetical sense: understands different body types, styles, fits Quick learner and has attention to details Educated in fashion, classic and popular culture, music, design or arts Energetic, friendly, and stylish — you bring attitude to everything you do Team-oriented, open-minded, and motivated Comfortable wearing a uniform and representing a design-led brand What You’ll Need to Apply A resume showing where you’ve worked and for how long A short note telling us about your sales associate journey and description of your personal style identity Please send this to and to .
