The Role:

We’re looking for a person with a naturally enthusiastic and positive personality to join our team. The purpose of this role is to generate sales that support the growth of this well-established company. As a Sales Associate, you will offer an attentive and respectful approach to customer service, introducing clients to our products for the first time. You will guide them through the process of selecting each fireplace component to suit their specific project. You will field inquiries from current and prospective clients through phone calls, emails and showroom visits. You will visit design firms for scheduled and drop-in product demonstrations.

Day-to-day Responsibilities:

Handle incoming leads (phone or email), and schedule showroom visits.

Executes full sales cycle:

Product introduction, quotes, project followup, close sales, provides fabrication updates, including delays, post sale follow-up, installation support, product demonstration, client review and photo requests etc. Generate new leads and projects through outreach and networking. Build and maintain return clients, including outreach to trade. Support any customer service issues with our sales team. Participates in trade shows and industry events

Role Requirements:

1-3 years of related professional sales experience Sense of personal style, polished appearance, refined taste and eye for luxury design Detail-oriented, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously. Bachelor’s degree preferred. CRM experience (Salesforce a plus!) Experience and/or interest in the design industry, i.e. high-end furniture, interior design, is a plus.

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to stand for several hours when maintaining our booth at trade shows and events. Must be comfortable sitting at a desk through a typical work day. Must be able to reach other areas of the office quickly. Must be able to lift up to 35 lbs. Must be able to occasionally assist in moving items weighing in excess of 50 lbs. Requires grasping, writing, standing, sitting, walking, repetitive motions, bending, climbing, listening and hearing ability and visual acuity. On occasion, Must be able to work well under pressure, managing multiple deadlines.
