Budtender Cannafamily Dispensary Howard Beach, NY 11414 Job Overview We are a brand new dispensary opening up. We are seeking a knowledgeable and customer-oriented Marijuana Budtender to join our team. As a Budtender, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional service to our customers while assisting them in selecting the right products for their needs. Your expertise in cannabis products, along with your ability to communicate effectively, will help create a welcoming and informative environment for all patrons. Must be 21+ to apply, experience preferred but not required. Duties Greet customers warmly and provide them with a positive shopping experience. Assist customers in selecting cannabis products based on their preferences and needs. Maintain an organized and well-stocked display of products, ensuring accurate inventory levels. Handle cash transactions efficiently using a cash register while adhering to cash handling procedures. Educate customers about different strains, product types, and consumption methods. Answer customer inquiries regarding cannabis products, effects, and legal regulations. Ensure compliance with all local laws and regulations regarding cannabis sales. Monitor product quality and freshness, reporting any issues to management. Collaborate with team members to maintain cleanliness and organization within the store. Qualifications Previous experience in retail sales or grocery store environments is preferred. Strong cash handling skills with experience operating a cash register. Basic math skills for accurate transaction processing and inventory management. Excellent communication skills. Experience with dutchie and or other POS systems not required but a huge plus Ability to supervise junior staff members when necessary, fostering a collaborative team environment. A passion for the cannabis industry and a desire to stay informed about new products and trends is essential.
