Job Duties and Responsibilities:
The Cart Attendant is responsible for interior and exterior maintenance of our store. The Cart Attendant’s duties are to ensure the tidiness and cleanliness presentation of the store, including making sure that all carts are put in the appropriate place. You are expected to provide assistance to sales associates, stock workers, and other store employees. Management may assign cart attendants to assist customers, stock shelves, or perform cleaning duties. Greet customers and provide an enjoyable shopping experience Makes sure that all shopping carts are put back in their appropriate location outside of the store Ensure proper housekeeping including equipment maintenance, inspection and interior/exterior tidiness Compliance of NetCost Market’s safety, security and store operations policies, procedures and practices Assess facility conditions and trends for proper planning of tasks and activities Frequently lift, carry, push and/or pull weights of approximately up to 50 lbs. Must be able to adapt to abrupt temperature changes when moving from one environment to another (Outside to Inside) Ensure execution of established safety, security, and store operations policies, procedures and practices as outlined in NetCost Market training materials Communicate with store manager regarding facility issues and concerns.
Preferred Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalency degree Friendliness, Presentation, and Efficiency Must be able to lift to 25 pounds Must be 18 and over Ability to perform basic Math Ability to interpret, understand and follow instructions and solve problems Able to work well with others as a team member A passion for serving people Five days a week
