Parts Director Overview:

Looking for a new start? Drive Garvey’s newest business – DG Auto Distributors is seeking a motivated and results-driven Salesperson to join our dynamic team! The ideal candidate will have strong experience in both retail and wholesale sales, a deep understanding of the automotive parts industry, and the ability to build lasting customer relationships. You will be responsible for promoting our wide range of high-quality auto parts, driving revenue, and delivering excellent customer service to business clients.

Key Responsibilities:

Drive sales growth through retail and wholesale channels by promoting brands that we carry. Develop new business opportunities and maintain relationships with existing clients. Provide knowledgeable advice and product recommendations tailored to client needs. Process sales transactions accurately and ensure timely delivery of products. Meet and exceed sales targets and performance goals. Maintain a strong understanding of our product catalog, promotions, and service offerings. Communicate effectively with internal departments to fulfill customer needs. Attend industry events or training sessions to stay current on automotive trends and product knowledge.

Qualifications:

Proven sales experience in the automotive or related industry (retail and/or wholesale). Strong customer service and communication skills. Ability to close deals, upsell, and maintain customer relationships. Knowledge of auto parts, aftermarket products, and distribution operations is a plus. Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and in a team environment. Basic computer and POS system proficiency (Fishbowl).
