Job Summary:
The dual role of an Internal Sales Representative and Technical Support Agent. The Internal Sales Rep, which accounts for 60% of the time, is to identify and pursue opportunities to grow sales among existing and former URC dealers with strong growth potential. This role focuses on managing customer relationships, handling inquiries, and driving revenue by increasing sales to dealers whose annual T/C purchases are under $10,000. Success in this position will be achieved through proactive outreach via phone and email communications. The Technical Support Agent role, which accounts for 40% of time is to calls, emails and other ticket sources with potential solutions for issues experienced with URC Products, programming and basic system design. The main responsibility of these two is to encourage the dealer’s growth and understanding of URC systems and to enhance customer satisfaction.
Compensation:
Base Salary ($60,000/year) + Commission ($15,000/year potential)

Duties/Responsibilities:
Inside Sales (60% of role) Proactively present, promote, and sell products over the phone by communicating strong value propositions to past and current dealers with annual T/C sales under $10,000. Strategic thinking and an ability to prioritize immediate tasks Establish, develop and maintain positive dealer relationships Engage existing and inactive URC dealers through initiated calling and attraction campaigns to generate new sales opportunities Ability to listen to the concerns of dealers with empathy and be able to address their needs Manage status, next steps and opportunities with past and current dealers Achieve agreed upon sales targets/KPIs and outcomes within schedule Supply management with reports on progress in dealer activation and sales increases, customer needs, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services Work collaboratively with the Nationwide Sales team, the Opportunity Manager, and all internal Engineering support teams Other duties as assigned Technical Support (40% of role) Expectation to fully understand URC Products and Software with the goal of being able to deduce problems and accurately troubleshoot dealers/users issue(s). Actively respond to dealer/end-user issues with appropriate and timely solutions Manage case notes, with exceptional detail, for easier recollection at a later time. Continue communication with dealers “waiting for a solution” to keep them updated as per progress of their resolution. Work on assisting other teams with assigned reports, product testing and other projects.

Technical Support:
Familiarity with Audio/Video systems, connections and basic Home Automation system design. Ability to learn software and understand potential issues and solutions. Eager to learn URC products and become a technical expert to assist in problem solving as a customer service Must stay up to date on Industry news, innovations and updates that affect URC’s ability to control, integrate and work with devices and networks.
Education and Experience:
At least three years of successful sales experience Sales experience in consumer electronics is a plus
Technical Support:
a willingness and aptitude to learn Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
