Part Time Retail Associate Pittsburgh Brewing Company 150 Ferry St, Creighton, PA 15030

Job Overview:

As a retail associate at the Pittsburgh Brewing Co. Gift shop your duties will include but are not limited to- greeting customers, answering questions related to the merchandise and store policies, handling sales, and locating items for customers. Must be available to work weekends. Must be 18 years of age or older.

Responsibilities:

Welcoming and engaging with customers as they enter the store Pour Samples for tastings Working with cash registers and processing payments Setting and attaining sales goals Giving customers advice about sales and promotions Using upselling techniques to increase store sales Recommending the best products to customers Cleaning and restocking the store throughout the day, before opening and after closing

Required Skills and Experience:

Comprehensive understanding of the store products and brands Preferably retail, bartending, or serving experience Deliver the best possible service and attention to all consumers Basic math skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Patience when dealing with difficult customers Problem-solving and conflict resolution skills Model reliability and flexibility by being able to work varied hours and days to meet the needs of the business Must be able to lift approximately 25 pounds
