Junior Sales Associate Harro Hofliger Packaging Systems Inc. With a strong commitment to quality and service, we are dedicated to improving the production processes of our clients at every stage – from early clinical trials to full-scale commercial manufacturing. We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Junior/Internal Sales Manager to join our US subsidiary in Doylestown, PA. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual looking to kickstart their career in sales within the pharmaceutical and medical device sectors. The ideal candidate will be a natural networker with strong communication skills, a passion for learning, and a desire to grow within the sales team. You will be responsible for researching the market and reaching out to qualify new prospects, establishing new client relationships, building relationships, consulting with clients, and promoting our diverse range of pharmaceutical and medical device production equipment. The role will require extensive travel to trade shows, conferences, and client meetings across the US. You will have the opportunity to work closely with clients on a wide range of projects, from tabletop equipment for early clinical stages to full-scale, commercial turnkey production lines.
Sales Support:
Assist in the development and execution of sales strategies to promote Harro Höfliger products across the pharmaceutical and medical device sectors.
Client Engagement:
Build and maintain strong relationships with current and potential clients, understanding their needs and offering tailored solutions.
Consultative Sales Approach:
Provide expert advice and product recommendations to clients, from early clinical-stage tabletop equipment to complex, fully integrated production lines.
Product Knowledge:
Continuously learn and stay up to date with Harro Höfliger products, industry trends, and client requirements to offer informed consultations.
Travel:
Attend and represent the company at industry trade shows, conferences, and client meetings across the US. Expect significant travel, including domestic and some international events.
Market Analysis:
Support the sales team by gathering and analysing market data to identify potential clients and sales opportunities.
Team Collaboration:
Work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering and customer service, to ensure client needs are met and expectations exceeded.
Education:
A background in engineering, pharmaceutical, or medical device-related fields is advantageous but not essential. We value candidates with strong communication and interpersonal skills over specific technical expertise.
Experience:
While prior experience in sales or the pharmaceutical industry is a plus, we are open to candidates who are passionate about the field and eager to learn. Strong networking and relationship-building abilities. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Motivated, proactive, and a self-starter. Willingness to travel frequently. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
