Sales Associate 1.0 1.0 out of 5 stars 1399 Connellsville Road, Lemont Furnace, PA 15456 Vehicle Sales Associate Reports to: Sales Manager and/or Senior Sales Associate The Vehicle Sales Associate is responsible for all activities related to selling vehicles. This position covers several broad areas including merchandising, lead management, sales administration and knowledge.

COMPENSATION

Expected annual gross is $35,000-$70,000. Sales associates are paid an hourly salary and earn commission for each vehicle sold. Volume bonuses are earned concurrently – monthly tiered and fast-start.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Merchandising Support Maintain our physical showroom, ensuring that vehicle inventory is organized and presentable to potential buyers. Assist in maintaining our virtual showroom, ensuring vehicle listings are accurate and represent the most current dealership inventory. Plan and execute vehicle builds to highlight available accessories and popular options. Lead Engagement and Follow-Up Maintain quick and consistent follow-up with all customer leads generated by the dealership’s online presence, OEMs, in-store visits and referrals. Engage leads via telephone, e-mail, text and in-person visits. Accurately quote vehicle and optional equipment pricing. Aid buyers in vehicle/option selection based on their individual preferences and needs. o Introduce new products, features, accessories, etc. and their benefits to buyers. Demonstrate vehicles (including test rides as per company policies). Convey offers for trade vehicles. Log all sales activities electronically via the dealership’s management system. Execute the Sale Select appropriate vehicles from dealer stock. Accept reservations and customer orders for stock-out models or variants. Schedule installation for vehicle accessories as needed, and ensure each vehicle is ready for customer delivery at the scheduled time. Take delivery of customer trade vehicles. Maintain Industry Knowledge Understand the terminology of the motorsports industry and keep abreast of technological changes in the products. Stay well-informed of new models, variants, accessories, options and products. Understand equity and values, and competently explain these values to buyers. Continue dealership and OEM-provided education through on-site demonstrations and online classes.

WORKING CONDITIONS

Associates will stand and move throughout the dealership facility (lot, sales floor, service department, parts department, offices, and warehouse) for the majority of the day. You will spend time outdoors showing vehicles as well as being exposed to noise, exhaust fumes, dust, hazardous, and non-hazardous materials.

Business Hours:

Tuesday – Thursday, 10AM-7PM, Friday – Saturday, 10AM-5PM. Associates are expected to report and leave 15-minutes before opening and after closing, respectively.
