Job Description
⚐ ⚑ ⚑ Facility Skeletal Crew Member (Whitney PA) compensation: 15.00 per hour employment type: experience level: senior level job title: Facility Skeletal Crew
- Perform routine facility maintenance tasks in a machine shop setting, including light repairs such as patching drywall, changing lightbulbs.
- Maintenance/upkeep of production equipment and machine shop machinery in addition to other relevant equipment.
- Groundskeeping upkeep, outbuildings and storage.
- Identify and report needs for major repairs.
- Open facility and lockup facility.
- Act as general day security.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent qualification required.
- Proven experience as a handyman or in a machine shop maintenance role is preferred.
- Basic understanding of Machine Shop machines, electrical, plumbing, or HVAC systems.
- Experience with Machine Shop Setting and common hardware tools and power equipment.
- Ability to use and troubleshoot basic machinery and equipment.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand, walk, kneel, bend, crouch, and climb ladders.
- Ability to work in machine shop setting, including tight spaces, noisy areas, or outdoors.
