Full Job Description Position Overview:

As a Dispensary Budtender, to serve as the primary point of contact for customers, providing exceptional service and expert guidance on cannabis products. Your role is to ensure customers have a safe, welcoming, and educational experience while assisting them in selecting products that meet their individual needs. This position requires a deep understanding of the products and interpersonal skills.

Hours:

The schedule will be a flex schedule with no more than 30 hours per week. Afternoons and weekends are the primary focus for this position.

The store schedule is:

Monday•

Thursday:

9am / 7pm Friday•

Saturday:

10am / 8pm

Sunday:

11am / 6pm

Pay:

$16•$17 per hour based on experience and the job description that is assigned

Key Responsibilities Customer Service:

Greet customers warmly and create a welcoming atmosphere. Build rapport with customers to understand their preferences, needs and desired effects. Provide tailored recommendations for cannabis products including flower, edibles, concentrates, and accessories. Educate customers on product details, such as cannabinoid content, terpene profiles, usage methods, and safe consumption practices. Handle clients with professionalism.

Product Knowledge:

Maintain up-to-date knowledge of all dispensary products and trends in the cannabis industry. Understand and communicate the benefits and effects of various cannabis strains and products. Stay informed about new products and promotions offered by the dispensary.

Sales & Transactions:

Assist customers in making purchases by accurately processing sales and handling cash or digital transactions. Upsell relevant products to enhance the customer experience. Ensure compliance with inventory controls

Compliance & Regulations:

Verify customer age and identification as required by state and local laws. Adhere to all cannabis regulations

Dispensary Operations:

Restock shelves, organize displays, and ensure the dispensary is clean and presentable at all times. Assist with inventory counts and tracking as needed. Collaborate with team members to maintain smooth day-to-day operations.

Qualifications Required Skills and Experience:

Experience in the cannabis / hemp industry is desired above all else. Strong customer service and communication skills. You MUST have the ability to have fun, but also

Learn POS System Preferred Skills:

Previous experience in retail, sales or the cannabis industry.

Requirements:

Must meet the minimum age requirement to work in the cannabis industry per state law. Ability to pass a background check. Flexibility to work days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Physical Demands:
