Sales Associate My Chocolate Shop Charleston, SC 29406 Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Sales Associate to join our dynamic retail team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for customer service and sales, demonstrating excellent communication skills while providing an exceptional shopping experience. As a Sales Associate, you will be responsible for assisting customers, managing transactions, and maintaining the store’s appearance. Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and assist them in finding products that meet their needs. Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and operating the cash register. Maintain knowledge of current promotions, sales, and product features to effectively communicate with customers. Conduct product demonstrations to enhance customer understanding and engagement. Manage inventory by stocking shelves, organizing merchandise, and ensuring the store is visually appealing. Utilize retail math skills to assist with inventory management and sales tracking. Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly. Uphold phone etiquette when answering customer calls or inquiries regarding products or services. Qualifications Previous experience in retail or sales is preferred but not required. Strong cash handling skills with experience using POS systems. Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with customers. Familiarity with retail math concepts is a plus. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self-motivated. A positive attitude with a commitment to providing outstanding customer service.
