Job Description
Evaluate wedding dresses and other garments to be cleaned and compute charges for services and receive payments. Greet customers and receive orders for dry cleaning services. Receive, examine, and tag articles to be altered, cleaned, stored, or repaired. Explain processes and procedures and provide information about availability for pick-up or delivery and arrange for the same. Advise customers on the use and care of wedding dresses and other garments. Answer telephones to provide information and receive orders. Track dresses through cleaning process to ensure on time completion. Preserve dresses in display box and create photographs, videos etc. of the same for marketing purposes. Assist customers with measuring garments, tag garments and assign to correct production department. Inspect altered garments to ensure they meet the needs of the customer. Keep records of transactions and of the number of customers entering an establishment.
Requires:
High School diploma or foreign equivalent + minimum of 6 months of experience as a merchandising associate or similar occupation setting up merchandise displays and providing customer service. Must have skills in applying audio visual techniques..
