N/A Basic Job Functions:
The Sales Associate’s primary responsibility is to maximize the long-term success of Nucor by supporting the sales team in taking excellent care of our teammates, customers, and partners. The teammate in this role will be responsible for leading and managing the estimating/bid calendar, organizing project folders and bid information, setting up new orders, estimating as needed, servicing small customer accounts, as well as other responsibilities as assigned. This is a developmental role for future advancement within Nucor, so the successful candidate is expected to participate in various training opportunities within Nucor. Safety is the most important aspect of all Nucor jobs, therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.
Minimum Qualifications:
Willingness & ability to relocate or commute daily to Kernersville, NC
Willingness & ability to work more than 40 hours per week if needed
Willingness and means to travel if needed

Preferred Qualifications:
Working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, SAP, and NuBid
Two
- or four-year degree in business, sales, marketing, construction management, engineering, or related field
Mobility for future advancement opportunities, particularly Sales Representative roles, within Nucor
Two years’ experience in the steel and/or construction industry Must submit a resume no later than July 7th, 2025 Must have supervisor and/or manager recommendation and must be able to perform all essential functions of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.
