What You Will DoAll Lowes associates deliver quality customerservice while maintaining a store that is clean, safe, and stockedwith the products our customers need. As a Seasonal Associate, thismeans: Being friendly and professional, and responding quickly tocustomer and associate needs. Ensuring merchandise is stocked andpresented appropriately for customers. Engaging in safe workpractices and encouraging others to do the same.

The SeasonalAssociate includes one of the following positions Assembler,Receiver/Stocker, Customer Service Associate (CSA) – Sales Floor,CSA Loader, CSA Front End, typically in a temporary capacity. Allemployees support Lowes mission by providing excellent customerservice through greeting customers, responding to customerinquiries, and assisting them in locating, selecting,demonstrating, preparing, or loading merchandise. Additionally,each role has specific key responsibilities that contribute toLowes mission to provide quality service and the right products,for example: assembling merchandise (Assembler), distributing andstocking merchandise (Receiver/Stocker), loading merchandise forcustomers (CSA Loader), assisting with shopping needs (CSA SalesFloor), and processing sales and returns (CSA Front End). This isnot an exhaustive list of duties, and Seasonal Associates may beasked to help with other duties as needed. Individuals applying forSeasonal Associate may be considered for any one of these roles,depending on hiring needs.

Travel Requirements:

This role does notrequire regular travel; however, this role may need to travel onoccasion to meetings, trainings, or to support neighboringstores.

What We’re Looking For Hourly Seasonal:

Generally scheduled10 to 40 hours; more hours may be required based on the needs ofthe store. Requires morning, afternoon, and evening availabilityany day of the week, except Receiver/Stocker which requires lateevening, night-time, and early morning availability any day of theweek. Physical ability to perform tasks that may require prolongedstanding, sitting, and other activities necessary to perform jobduties. Minimally must be able to lift 25 pounds withoutassistance; may lift over 25 pounds with or without assistance.(Except CSA Front End) Minimally must be able to lift 10 poundswithout assistance; may lift over 10 pounds with or withoutassistance. (Only CSA Front End)What You Need To SucceedMinimumQualifications Assembler & Receiver/Stocker Ability to read, write,and perform basic arithmetic (addition, subtraction). CSAs (Loader,Front-End, and Sales Floor) 6 months of experience using acomputer, including: inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputtinginformation AND 6 months of experience using a handheld device(e.g., mobile phone, LRT gun, palm pilot, tablet, iPod) to enter,access, and output information.

Preferred Qualifications Assembler ℜceiver/Stocker 3 months of experience operating forklift/powerequipment such as lifts, order pickers, and similar equipment. CSAs(Loader, Front-End, and Sales Floor) 6 months of retail experience,performing tasks such as: identifying and selling products based oncustomer needs; explaining warranties, product features, andbenefits; assisting customers in locating products; buildingcustomer relationships; identifying and resolving customer issues;zone recovery; and housekeeping.

If the state or local municipalityrequires a salesperson license for this position, you must eitherbe licensed or pass the requisite licensing exam within sixty (60)days of starting employment in this position.
