$24.3K – $29.4K a year 9 hours ago Qualifications Customer service High school diploma or GED Communication skills Entry level Full Job Description We are seeking a reliable and friendly Part-Time Door Person to join our team at Cornell Arms Apartments during the hours of 6 pm to 2 am Monday-Saturday. The Door Person will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and satisfaction of our residents and guests at Cornell Arms Apartments. This position requires excellent customer service skills, a keen attention to security, and the ability to communicate effectively with a diverse set of individuals.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet and welcome residents and guests as they enter and exit the building. Monitor the building’s entrance to ensure security and safety protocols are followed. Assist residents with inquiries and provide information about the building amenities and services. Handle and report any issues or emergencies to the appropriate personnel. Assist with the delivery of packages and mail, ensuring proper distribution. Maintain a clean and organized entrance area, including keeping doors secure. Conduct regular patrols of the property to ensure safety and security. Collaborate with the security team and other staff members to maintain a safe environment. Follow all company policies and procedures, including response protocols for emergencies.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Previous experience in a customer service or security role is a plus. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations. Detail-oriented with a strong sense of responsibility and integrity. Must be able to work independently and as part of a team. Flexibility to work on weekends and holidays.
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally. Ability to navigate stairs in case of emergency.
