In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, assisting customers with their purchases, and maintaining an organized and inviting store environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for retail, strong communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced setting. Duties Greet customers warmly and assist them in locating products within the store. Operate the cash register efficiently, processing transactions accurately while ensuring a positive customer experience. Maintain stock levels by restocking shelves and organizing merchandise to create an appealing shopping environment. Utilize retail math skills to assist with inventory management and product pricing. Conduct product demonstrations to educate customers about features and benefits of items. Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly with professionalism. Follow company policies regarding phone etiquette when interacting with customers over the phone. Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and enhance overall store performance. Skills Strong customer service skills with a friendly demeanor. Basic math skills for handling transactions and inventory management. Experience operating cash registers and point-of-sale (POS) systems is preferred. Knowledge of grocery store operations is a plus. Ability to perform stock management tasks efficiently. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with customers and team members. Sales experience is beneficial, particularly in a retail environment.
