Job Summary:
We are seeking a friendly, knowledgeable, and customer-focused Counter Sales Representative to join our team at our retail store. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for customers seeking hot tubs, spa accessories, and pool and spa chemicals. Your goal is to provide exceptional service, product knowledge, and support to ensure a positive customer experience. Currently, this position is 32 hours per week.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet and assist customers in-store with product inquiries and purchases Educate customers on the features and benefits of hot tubs, spa accessories, and water treatment products Recommend appropriate spa and pool chemicals based on customer needs and water test results Perform basic water testing and interpret results to suggest the proper chemical treatment Process sales transactions accurately using the POS system Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked sales counter and showroom Assist with inventory control, including restocking shelves and updating product displays Handle customer concerns or issues professionally and escalate when necessary Stay current on product knowledge and industry trends Support other team members and contribute to a positive team environment
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent Previous customer service experience required Experience in pools/hot tub accessories and water testing a plus Willingness to learn (on the job training provided) Comfortable using computers and point-of-sale systems Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods Reliable, punctual, and customer-service oriented
