Position Summary:
Oversee hourly employees and ensure schedules, policies and procedures are followed. Organized and drives continuous improvement and help build/maintain a culture of good work ethic, loyalty, lean manufacturing.
Job Responsibilities:
Reviews and maintains daily task Develops and implements process improvements needed for optimal department performance Ensure the employees are focused on customer and internal quality issues and anomalies Update and share information from the Departmental and station boards Collaboratively work with Engineering to launch new product and custom deviations Help build and maintain world class 5’s Help train and foster new employees Fill in for jobs during high absenteeism Reviews and maintains daily tasks Other duties as necessary
Qualification Requirements:
1 to 2 years of experience in a leadership role in the marine industry Demonstrated tangible leadership skills that cohere to the lean culture with the ability to engage, coach and develop associates and peers
