In this role, you will be the face of our store, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive shopping experience for all customers. You will assist with product demonstrations, manage cash handling, and collaborate with team members to drive sales. Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and provide assistance throughout their shopping experience. Operate cash registers efficiently, handling cash transactions accurately. Maintain knowledge of store products and promotions to effectively communicate with customers. Assist in product demonstrations to engage customers and promote sales. Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and enhance customer satisfaction. Supervise and train new staff as needed, ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures. Keep the sales floor organized and well-stocked, ensuring product availability for customers. Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly to maintain a positive shopping environment. Skills Previous experience in a grocery store or retail environment is preferred. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse clientele. Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and register operations. Experience with cash registers and cash handling procedures is an asset. Ability to collaborate effectively with team members to drive sales initiatives. Enthusiasm for product demos and the ability to engage customers in conversation about products.
