Cashier/Sales Associate Four Sisters Antiques & Vintage 1056 Seals Way, Murfreesboro, TN 37129 Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and friendly Cashier/Sales team member to join our retail environment. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for customers, providing exceptional service while processing transactions and assisting with product inquiries. Your ability to engage customers and promote products will contribute to a positive shopping experience and drive sales. Responsibilities Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently to process customer transactions accurately. Provide outstanding customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and addressing concerns promptly. Assist in retail sales by promoting products through effective communication and product demonstrations. Maintain an organized and stocked sales floor, ensuring that products are displayed attractively. Supervise junior staff when necessary, providing guidance on best practices in customer service and sales techniques. Handle phone inquiries with professionalism and courtesy, ensuring all customer needs are met. Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and enhance the overall shopping experience for customers. Qualifications Previous experience in retail sales or cashiering is preferred but not required. Strong customer service skills with a friendly demeanor and a passion for helping others. Familiarity with POS systems is a plus; training will be provided as needed. Ability to demonstrate products effectively to enhance customer understanding and drive sales. Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills for interacting with customers both in-person and over the phone.
