In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, assisting customers with their purchases, and maintaining the overall appearance of the store. The ideal candidate will have a passion for retail and a strong ability to engage with customers, ensuring they have a positive shopping experience. Responsibilities Greet customers warmly and assist them in locating products within the store. Operate the cash register and handle cash transactions accurately, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed. Conduct product demos to showcase features and benefits, encouraging customers to make informed purchasing decisions. Maintain stock levels by restocking shelves and organizing merchandise displays to enhance product visibility. Provide knowledgeable answers to customer inquiries regarding products, promotions, and store policies. Utilize basic math skills for processing transactions and managing cash register operations effectively. Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and maintain a positive work environment. Ensure cleanliness and organization of the sales floor, stockroom, and checkout areas. Experience Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred but not required. Familiarity with Point of Sale (POS) systems is a plus. Basic math skills are essential for handling cash transactions accurately. Strong communication skills with the ability to engage customers effectively. Experience in grocery store settings is advantageous but not mandatory.
