Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and friendly team member to join our smoke shop. This role involves cashier duties, providing excellent customer service, maintaining store cleanliness, and keeping shelves stocked. The ideal candidate will be customer-focused, detail-oriented, and capable of working in a fast-paced retail environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Cashier Duties:

Operate POS system to process sales accurately Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions Balance register at the beginning and end of shift Issue receipts and manage returns or exchanges

Customer Service:

Greet customers promptly and professionally Assist with product selection and provide knowledgeable recommendations Answer customer questions regarding products, promotions, and store policies Handle customer concerns or complaints in a courteous manner

Cleaning & Maintenance:

Keep the sales floor, counters, and displays clean and organized Regularly clean glass cases, restrooms, and other high-touch areas Take out trash and ensure cleanliness standards are met daily

Stocking & Merchandising:

Receive, unpack, and stock inventory Ensure shelves are fully stocked, organized, and visually appealing Monitor product expiration dates and rotate stock accordingly Assist with inventory counts and loss prevention efforts

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent preferred Previous retail or smoke shop experience is a plus Basic math and cash-handling skills Friendly, professional demeanor with strong communication skills

Job Types:
