The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional service to our customers while driving sales and maintaining a positive environment. As a Sales Associate, you will be responsible for assisting customers with their purchases, managing inventory, and ensuring the store is well-stocked and organized. Duties Greet customers warmly and assist them in locating products throughout the store. Utilize upselling techniques to enhance customer experience and increase sales. Operate the cash register and handle transactions accurately, including cash handling and credit card processing. Maintain knowledge of current promotions and product offerings to effectively communicate with customers. Ensure shelves are stocked, organized, and visually appealing at all times. Provide excellent phone etiquette when answering customer inquiries or directing calls as needed. Qualifications Previous experience in sales environments is preferred but not required. Strong upselling skills with the ability to engage customers effectively. Proficient in using POS systems and cash registers for transaction processing. Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and providing change accurately. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on phone etiquette. Ability to work well in a team-oriented setting while also being self-motivated.
