Pro Counter Associate

We are seeking a candidate with a strong proficiency in building materials and lumber, capable of providing knowledgeable assistance to customers as a Pro Counter Associate. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in driving sales, emphasizing a focus beyond traditional cashier responsibilities. The Pro Counter Associate is responsible for building rapport and partnering with Outside Sales Reps, Customer Service and General Managers, Key Decision Makers (KDMs), Sales Directors, and Vice Presidents of Operations within the assigned region and/or market(s) to promote Harpeth True Value product offerings to deepen existing business relationships and grow sales within the Pro division. Other duties could include receiving, stocking, and general housekeeping. All associates are responsible for maintaining a safe work environment by following all safety policies and standards and completing specified safety training. Health Benefits are available to full-time associates.
Education and Experience:
At least three years of relevant professional Sales experience and/or calling on contractors within retail or consumer goods industry; previous experience selling into Big Box stores (Strongly Preferred) Additional 1-2 years of experience selling products to strategic accounts in home improvement, construction, or property maintenance industry (Strongly Preferred) High school diploma or equivalent (Required) Bachelor’s degree (Strongly Preferred) 6+ months of warehouse experience (Preferred)

Qualifications:
