Job Summary We are seeking an enthusiastic and customer-focused Retail Sales Associate to operate our satellite tasting room located within a flagship retail store in Manchester, Vermont. This role involves conducting product tastings, educating customers about our craft spirits, and driving sales through exceptional customer service and product knowledge. We are a small, entrepreneurial firm, so we all wear many hats – but they all say Village Garage Distillery. This is a part-time position with a consistent weekend schedule that offers the opportunity to be the face of our brand in the Manchester market. Responsibilities Operate the tasting room during scheduled hours, providing excellent customer service and product education. Conduct product samplings for customers, explaining the unique qualities and production methods of our craft spirits. Process sales transactions through the point-of-sale system accurately and efficiently. Maintain attractive product displays and ensure the tasting area is clean and welcoming. Build relationships with customers and create memorable brand experiences that encourage repeat visits and referrals. Track inventory levels and communicate restocking needs to management. Travel to our Bennington location approximately every two weeks to restock inventory. Represent the Village Garage Distillery brand with professionalism and enthusiasm. Qualifications Previous retail or customer service experience preferred. Strong interpersonal and communication skills with ability to engage diverse customers. Knowledge of or interest in learning about craft spirits, distillation processes, and tasting techniques. Reliable transportation for travel between Manchester and Bennington locations. Ability to work independently and make decisions in a satellite location. Professional appearance and demeanor suitable for representing our brand. Must be 21+ years of age and able to responsibly conduct alcohol tastings.

Details Schedule:

Friday-Saturday 12pm-6pm, Sunday 12pm-5pm (17 hours per week) Target salary is $18-$22/hour. Travel reimbursement provided for inventory restocking trips to Bennington. Opportunity to grow with the company as we expand into additional markets.
