Job Description
Store Clerk/Cashier Mike and Tammy’s Main Street Market and Deli Londonderry, VT 05148 We are seeking a friendly and efficient Store Clerk to join our team full-time or part-time.
Responsibilities:
Operate the cash register accurately and efficiently. Process cash and credit card payments accurately. Issue receipts and provide accurate change. Serve customers in the Deli area while adhering to all health and safety regulations. Slice deli meat and cheeses, make sandwiches, and serve ice cream seasonally. Assist customers with product inquiries and locating items within the store. Maintain a clean and organized store area. This includes the cashier area, deli, bathrooms, coffee counter, and all other store areas. Follow all closing procedures. Maintain a positive and professional attitude when interacting with customers and colleagues. Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
Age 16 or older Previous experience in a retail or customer service environment is preferred but not required. Excellent customer service skills. Ability to handle cash and make change accurately. Ability to work effectively in a team environment. Ability to stand for extended periods of time. Availability to work 11a-7p. Availability to work weekends.
