In this role, you will support the Store Manager in overseeing daily operations, ensuring exceptional customer service, and driving sales performance. You will play a key role in managing staff, inventory, and store budgets while fostering a positive shopping environment. Duties Assist in the management of daily store operations to ensure efficiency and effectiveness. Supervise, train, and motivate retail staff to achieve sales targets and provide outstanding customer service. Implement inventory management practices to maintain optimal stock levels and ensure accurate inventory control. Utilize retail math skills for budgeting and financial reporting to track sales performance and expenses. Negotiate with vendors for inventory procurement and manage supplier relationships. Conduct regular audits of inventory and sales data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement. Collaborate with the Store Manager on promotional strategies and merchandising initiatives. Address customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly to enhance customer satisfaction. Skills Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively. Proficient in retail math for budgeting and financial analysis. Experience in sales management with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding targets. Knowledge of inventory management systems and best practices for inventory control. Ability to negotiate effectively with vendors to secure favorable terms.
