Thrift Store Manager Marys Shelter Gulf Coast Elberta, AL 36530 Thrift Store Manager Wanted – Make a Difference! Join our passionate non-profit team at Mary’s Shelter Thrift Store in Elberta! We are seeking a dynamic Thrift Store Manager to lead our volunteer team of workers who are supporting our local maternity home. One hundred percent of the proceeds from our thrift store sales go into our home!
What You’ll Do:
Oversee daily store operations, including inventory, sales, and customer service. Inspire and manage a team of volunteers. Curate thrift store displays to attract shoppers and to accentuate new merchandise that has been added. Drive fundraising goals through creative community engagement via social media. Continually update merchandise pricing in order to help items move. Ensure a welcoming environment for all and promote Mary’s Shelter’s mission.
Who You Are:
A leader with retail or management experience (thrift store experience a plus!). You are organized, creative, and interact well with both volunteers and customers. You can multi task and follow the thrift store guidelines set forth. You have a good sense for pricing items when donations are being displayed.
