Job Summary :
As the first point of contact for our members, it is crucial that the Front Desk Closer is consistently punctual and dependable in opening the facility on time and ensuring that everything is running smoothly to close staffed hours in the CLUB. We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, can be counted on to complete tasks accurately and efficiently, and is committed to maintaining a high standard of service for our members.
Responsibilities :
Closes the fitness center’s staffed hours promptly at 11:00 pm Monday through Friday Ensures all cash deposits are closed and secured. Cleans the CLUB common areas, locker rooms, and equipment to the extent possible to keep the facility clean at closing Greets members in a friendly and professional manner. Ensures members and guests check in appropriately. Assists members with account issues and answer general questions. Counts inventory and reports any discrepancies to management. Performs additional tasks as needed.
Physical Demands :
Must be able to stand for extended periods of time. Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. Must be able to bend, stoop, and reach overhead. Must be able to handle cleaning chemicals and equipment. Must be able to work in noisy environment.
Qualifications :
High school diploma or equivalent, some college preferred. Minimum of 1 year of experience in a customer service role, preferably in a fitness or hospitality environment Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment. Ability to handle cash deposits and manage inventory. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Must be punctual and reliable.
