The successful candidate will promote Faulkner University through welcoming all customers to the store; assisting customers with purchases; coordinating all the merchandising of inventory; and maintaining the attractive appearance of the store. Faulkner University is a Christian university affiliated with the churches of Christ. This is a part-time (avg. 28 hours per week), 10-month (August-May) position with some summer hours as needed .

Summary of Duties:

Receive, count and price ordered merchandise Assist with coordinating off-site sales events Assist store Operations Manager in accounting for all inventory on a regular basis Assist with selection and training of student workers; supervise student workers Establish and maintain filing systems for vendor records and correspondence Operate cash register, receiving money, credit cards, gift cards

Qualifications:
