Job SummaryAs theultimate leader of their store, a Store Manager is accountable forevery aspect of the retail store performance, ensuring that allareas of the store are engaged, achieving key results, and that thestore is delivering world-class guest experience. Core Responsibilities of the JobLeadership andPeople Management Create and foster a respectful and inclusive team environmentand culture by welcoming and celebrating differences to ensure asupportive, productive and fun experience for team members. Establish a vision for the store, based on key metrics andinitiatives, and cascade to all team members. Manage the store’s hiring strategy to build a strong anddiverse team that includes team members with various experiences,backgrounds, and skillsets to drive store operations. Support ongoing learning and development of all team membersconsistently and equitably by providing direct feedback, coaching,mentoring, continuous development check-ins and leading performancemanagement activities. Guest Experience and Community Lead an exceptional guest (customer) experience on the floorthrough assessing the level of guest connection and technicalproduct education and supporting team members to address gapsthrough feedback and coaching. Manage and direct in-store team members to ensure optimal guestexperience that values guests’ time and supports storeoperations. Address emergent issues, including guest escalations and urgentrequests. Establish and increase brand awareness in the community bycultivating and maintaining inclusive relationships with localambassadors, sweat leaders, community influencers and otherexternal partners. Plan and execute local, regional, and area driven Communityprojects and initiatives (e.g., local run club, International Dayof Yoga). Operations, Product, and Strategy Drive overall store visual merchandising, product strategy,including product escalations, and execute company-driven productactions, projects, and initiatives. Manage sell-through by monitoring product levels, ensuringaccuracy of inventory counts, and organizing product deliveries inline with visual merchandising strategy. Plan and execute high-level quarterly and seasonal planning forstore with respect to strategy, budget, and labor (includingrecruiting and training/development). Manage whole store profit and loss (P&L) in accordance withgoals (sales, budget, etc.). Move dynamically and lead from the floor to assess and fulfillthe needs of the business, team, and guests through coaching anddeveloping team members. Understand and adhere to people safety policies and proceduresto maintain a safe work environment. Perform work in accordance with applicable policies,procedures, and laws or regulations.
