Automotive Repair Shop Assistant Manager 4.2 4.2 out of 5 stars Troy, AL 36081 Job Overview We are seeking dedicated Assistant Retail Manager to join a team of professionals. The ideal candidate will possess an understanding of automotive systems and repair techniques, as well the ability to motivate sales teams, develop business strategies and oversee operations. This role requires both technical expertise and excellent customer service skills to effectively communicate with clients about their vehicle needs. Duties Deliver excellent customer service Motivate sales team to meet goals and objectives through proper training and mentoring Hire and train new staff Maintain accurate records of services performed, parts used, and customer interactions. Provide exceptional customer service by explaining repairs and maintenance procedures clearly to clients. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow in the shop. Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in automotive technology. Generate product and service reports by collecting customer information Create and manage social media content Ensure store compliance with health and safety regulations Requirements HS Diploma or equivalent At least (2) years experience working in a related field and (1) year experience in a management role Excellent organizational and communication skills Must have technical ability to include data entry, spreadsheets and social media content Leadership qualities that contribute to a positive team environment.
