Position Summary:
The Floor Sales Manager is responsible for leading and energizing the sales team, ensuring outstanding customer engagement, and driving both performance and professionalism on the showroom floor. You’ll be the face of the store during every customer visit and the driving force behind consistent follow-up and team activity.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise, coach, and motivate the floor sales team to achieve and exceed sales targets. Periodically lead daily sales meetings Interact with every customer on the showroom floor as the visible, customer-facing manager. Serve as the primary liaison between customers and the sales desk to streamline communication and deal flow. Oversee internet lead workflow to ensure prompt, consistent, and thorough follow-up by the sales team. Confirm all scheduled sales appointments daily and follow up personally on missed appointments. Maintain an energetic and upbeat vibe across the showroom throughout the day. Drive activity and accountability during slower periods by helping sales staff initiate customer engagement (calls, follow-ups, prospecting). Support the sales team in closing deals and handling objections. Ensure compliance with dealership processes and manufacturer standards. Collaborate with management on marketing strategies, inventory rotation, and staffing needs. Assist in recruiting, onboarding, and training new sales team members.
Qualifications:
Energetic and upbeat personality is a key qualification 2+ years of proven success in an automotive sales leadership or floor management role. Strong leadership and coaching abilities with a passion for developing others. Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills. Results-driven mindset with a proactive approach to challenges and opportunities. Excellent time management and organizational skills. Familiarity with CRM systems and internet lead management tools. Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
