TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

:

• Manage all store operations including guest engagement/service, production, inventory, scheduling, personnel, cash drawer, cleaning, reporting, etc.
• Help train and lead a team focused on providing a wonderful Buff City Soap experience for all our guests
• Track inventory of raw materials, finished products and supplies
• Identify, communicate and delegate responsibilities to team members to ensure smooth flow of operations
• Multitask related to product production and engaging with guests
• Help lead team in a player/coach role working to create and maintain an upbeat, fast-paced and fun environment

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Basic computer skills and knowledge
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time
• Must not be overly sensitive to various scents and fragrances
• Dexterity of hands and fingers
• Ability to lift or assist in lifting items and heavy bags/ boxes up to 50 pounds
• Ability to walk, reach with hands and arms, climb, balance, twist, stoop, kneel and crouch
• Ability to perform a variety of cleaning tasks to help keep our Makery clean for both our guests and team members

SCHEDULE

Shop hours vary slightly based on the shopping center of each store, but our Tuscaloosa location hours are currently 10:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. M-Sat and 1:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. on Sundays. However, we will start closing later some nights of the week and have extended hours for the holidays and special events.

• Flexible hours, but some weekend/holiday work is naturally needed in our retail environment

EDUCATION

• High school degree or equivalent required
• College degree or comparable work experience strongly preferred

EXPERIENCE
