The Rental Shop Manager is a dynamic, self starter who manages our extensive Snowsports and Mountain bike rental operations. The ideal candidate will be tech savvy, an avid Snowsports and Mountain bike athlete with industry experience. Direct technical experience as a ski tuner or bike mechanic is not required. During high season the Rental Shop Manager will manage a team of 20-30 seasonal staff members. During the shoulder seasons they will be directly involved in equipment maintenance and upkeep as well as multiple projects around the resort. Powder Ridge is poised to experience explosive growth in both summer and winter rentals. We are looking for a confidant leader with a growth mindset, someone willing to get their hands dirty taking our Training center to the new heights.

Primary Responsibilities:

Manage Rental inventory for both summer and winter equipment fleets Schedule and Manage Rental staff Develop and maintain relationships with vendors Drive growth of Powder Ridge Rentals Manage all aspects of the resort retail experience Deliver exceptional guest experiences during the rental and retail interactions Start the learning process for all renters during their transactions.

Secondary duties:

Take an active role in the training center and overall resort appearance and experience. Assist other departments as needed Other duties as defined by Resort leadership Candidates must be able to lift and carry 50 lbs regularly Weekend and Holiday hours are required

Job Type:

Full-time Pay:

$37,000.00 – $45,000.00 per year
