Charlotte Hungerford Hospital is a 122-bed, general acute carecommunity hospital located in Torrington, Connecticut, that servesas a regional health care resource for the 100,000 residents ofLitchfield County and Northwest Connecticut. CHH offerspersonalized attention from an expert team of caregivers andphysicians that utilize advanced technology and clinicalpartnerships in a convenient, safe and comfortable patientenvironment. The Clinical Supervisor acts as the off-shiftadministrator on call with responsibility for the effectiveimplementation of the philosophy, goals, policies, and proceduresof the hospital and their effect on patient care. Responsible forpatient flow and bed management. The Clinical Supervisor hasauthority to make decisions in the areas of patient care, humanresources, and financial management. The Clinical Supervisor willinteract with Hospital employees in a positive and supportivemanner. The Clinical Supervisor will maintain timely andappropriate communication with department Directors/Managersregarding issues/concerns that occur on the off-shifts, weekends,and holidays.
Qualifications Qualifications:
Current CT RNLicensure B.S. with concentration in nursing required. Will acceptmatriculation into a BSN program (traditional or on-line) withinsix months of accepting the position.
ACLS, CPR 3
years criticalcare experience required Supervisory experience preferred. We takegreat care of careers.
