In this role, you’ll motivate and develop a small team while delivering exceptional customer experiences. Key Responsibilities Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of 2 sales associates to consistently achieve and exceed sales targets. Personally engage with customers to understand their flooring needs, provide tailored solutions, and close sales. Train and coach team members on product knowledge, selling techniques, and customer service best practices. Monitor individual and team performance, providing regular feedback, performance plans, and support. Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing showroom aligned with brand presentation standards. Partner with store leadership on promotions, merchandising, and marketing strategies to drive traffic and conversion. Resolve escalated customer issues with professionalism, urgency, and a solutions-oriented mindset. Prepare and deliver regular reports on sales metrics, team productivity, and performance trends. Qualifications 3+ years of experience in retail or showroom sales; 1+ years of leadership or supervisory experience preferred. Background in flooring and home improvement is a strong plus. Proven ability to meet or exceed sales goals and KPIs. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a customer-first attitude. Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and support team growth. Proficient with point-of-sale (POS) systems, inventory management tools, and CRM software. Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays, to meet the needs of a retail environment.
