Job Description

Full Time Store Manager- Fort Lauderdale Confidential Oakland Park, FL 33334 Store Manager position Fort Lauderdale Established Company in Florida seeks a responsible and experienced Store Manager with extensive knowledge in the Retail industry, specifically with Flower Industry, Wedding and Events, if you are a results driven and detailed oriented person, this is the opportunity for you! The Floral Store Manager will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, financial reporting, and developing overall strategies for the store. This role includes managing product ordering and quality control, as well as helping to establish store policies and procedures. In addition, the Manager will focus on coordinating shop activities and providing exceptional customer service. Responsibilities include reviewing floral designs, setting prices for arrangements, ordering flowers and supplies and other administrative duties. For special occasions such as weddings and events, the Manager will assist with venue setup and decoration. The role also involves providing on-the-job training to new employees and supervising their work. In the absence of support staff, the Manager will assist with packaging arrangements for shipment and organizing shop supplies. The ideal Floral Store Manager will possess excellent customer service skills, a friendly and outgoing personality, and the ability to collaborate effectively with others. They should be a proactive problem solver with a strong desire to succeed and drive growth opportunities for the company.

Key role and responsibilities:

Responsible for providing management oversight for several locations including daily operations, training and development of employees, and customer service. Build and develop a team of highly motivated, skilled and productive profesionals to drive company operational goals. Build out a strong sales & marketing strategy for the surrounding area. Attract, train & retain good talent, people who care to work, learn and live the company values. Work to meet and exceed store profitability targets. Ensures compliance with company sales and production planning policies, striving to meet outlined performance standards. Collaborates with the sales team to cultivate new client relationships and expand the customer base through networking efforts. Cultivates and sustains relationships with various clientele, including residential clients, interior designers, event planners, cateters, and venues. Provide updates and reports to senior leadership team of successes and opportunities to improve. Provide timely performance feedback to staff on areas they are performing well and areas they can continue to improve.

Requirements:

Must have at least 5 years experience in retail management (Experience in the floral industry, wedding and events industry is a plus). Advanced English & Spanish level. Proven experience as Store Manager or similar role. Positive energy and customer service oriented. Excellent communication and relational skills on the phone, email and online. Ability to fully listen and understand needs before problem solving. Business & Finance Acumen.
