manager/supervisor. The manager will ensure all new department associates receive proper training and supervision and will ensure correct ordering, receiving, unloading, storage, and rotation of merchandise and building of displays. The manager is also responsible for managing department inventory, buying, pricing, integrity, merchandising, labor, managing team, bakery presentation, quality control, and other operational processes to company standards. They must follow the Company sales and production planning standards. They will plan, order, and process grocery products according to work plan and standards to maximize sales and gross profit. The manager must understand and be able to fill in for all positions in the event of an emergency and may be asked to cover the register for a few hours daily. Qualifications:

Must be at least 18 years of age. High school education preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must be able to frequently lift 50 pounds and occasionally lift up to 75 pounds. Must successfully pass Math, Cashier,Physical Test and Interpersonal Skill test. Must have at least 1 year experience in grocery, retail operations or manager, supervisor experience. Must be customer service orientated and have customer service experience. Must hold management experience or advanced interpersonal communication skills. Must be outgoing, have a positive leadership style and maintain positive atmosphere for customers and employees. Must work well in a team and under pressure. Must be a quick learner and quick to adapt to situations. Fluent english is a must, spanish is a bonus. Speaking arabic is a strong aid as most of the products and clientele communicate in arabic. Knowledge of Lebanese foods is a strong aid as well (Falafel, Shawarmas, Tabouleh, Hummus, etc..)
