Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Retail Sales Manager to lead our in-store sales team, drive revenue, and ensure exceptional customer service standards. The ideal candidate will be a strong leader with a proven track record in retail sales, team management, and operational excellence. This role is pivotal in achieving sales targets, maintaining brand standards, and creating a motivating and high-performing sales environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead, coach, and develop a team of sales associates to meet and exceed individual and store performance targets. Monitor sales metrics and analyze performance data to identify areas for improvement and implement strategic solutions. Ensure optimal product presentation, merchandising, and inventory levels in alignment with brand guidelines. Deliver exceptional customer service by maintaining a welcoming, knowledgeable, and responsive in-store experience. Recruit, train, and onboard new team members, promoting a culture of excellence and accountability. Execute and manage promotional campaigns, seasonal launches, and in-store events. Oversee daily store operations including opening/closing procedures, cash handling, and compliance with company policies. Resolve customer complaints and conflicts efficiently while preserving brand reputation and customer satisfaction. Collaborate with the upper management to forecast sales, set goals, and report on progress. Maintain a high standard of visual merchandising and store cleanliness.

Requirements:

Proven experience (3+ years) in retail management or supervisory role, preferably in a fast-paced or high-volume environment. Strong leadership and team-building skills with the ability to inspire and motivate. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills. Results-oriented with a strong understanding of sales principles and customer behavior. Ability to analyze sales reports and KPIs to make informed decisions. Proficiency in POS systems and basic office software (MS Office, Google Workspace). Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and varying shifts as needed.

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or related field. Experience in [insert specific industry, e.g., fashion, electronics, home goods]. Familiarity with inventory management software and loss prevention techniques.
