ROLE SUMMARY

The Store Manager is responsible for the smooth day-to-day operation of Greenhouse, ensuring top-tier customer experiences, consistent team performance, efficient labor and inventory management, and exceptional quality standards in our food, beverage, plant, and retail programs. This is role is responsible for running store day-to-day with a heavy floor presence, focused on operational excellence, staff support, and brand integrity.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Customer Engagement Actively engage customers during peak hours Educate and assist with plant care, retail products, and menu offerings Monitor guest satisfaction and respond to feedback in real time Maintain a welcoming, clean, and organized space Team Leadership & Staff Management Lead daily operations and assign roles during busy periods Hire, train, coach, and evaluate team performance Handles staff complications and call-outs Document and address disciplinary issues as needed Foster a positive, respectful, and productive work culture Operational Oversight Ensure completion of opening/closing procedures Maintain high standards for food and beverage consistency Troubleshoot issues as they arise, providing real-time support Enforce safety, cleanliness, and compliance protocols Retail & Inventory Management Oversee plant care, inventory ordering, receiving, and product displays Ensure inventory accuracy and timely restocking Collaborate with ownership to manage seasonal merchandising Event & Marketing Support Assist with monthly and private events Support social media content and in-store promotions Act as a community liaison to build outreach and engagement Sales & Labor Accountability Monitor daily labor against sales goals Adjust schedules when needed to meet targets Propose ways to improve efficiency and drive sales Report on weekly/monthly performance trends
