Bob Tyler Toyota is seeking an experienced and results-driven Automotive Parts Director to oversee the operations of our parts department. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring the efficient procurement, inventory management, and sales of automotive parts while delivering outstanding customer service. This leadership position requires strategic thinking, a commitment to excellence, and a deep understanding of the automotive industry.

Parts Director:
Lead, mentor, and manage the parts department staff, fostering a high-performance team culture.
Develop and execute strategies for effective inventory management, ensuring the availability of parts while minimizing excess stock.
Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to negotiate competitive pricing and ensure timely deliveries.
Drive parts sales by identifying opportunities, implementing marketing initiatives, and monitoring department performance metrics.
Ensure exceptional service to internal (service department) and external customers, resolving any issues promptly and professionally.
Develop and manage the department’s budget, analyzing financial reports to identify areas for improvement.
Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and industry standards. Qualifications/Requirements•
Parts Director:
Proven experience in automotive parts management, preferably in a leadership role.
Strong knowledge of automotive systems, parts, and inventory control processes.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to analyze data, develop strategies, and make informed decisions.
