This includes managing employees, scheduling shifts, and ensuring that customers have a positive experience. As a manager within our organization, you are tasked with developing new ways to improve customer service and increase sales; work closely with other managers and departments in the organization to develop strategies to achieve department & company goals.

MAIN JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
A front-end manager typically has a wide range of responsibilities, which can include: Providing training to new employees on company policies and procedures Assigning daily tasks, including opening & closing check list Managing the store’s operations including cash handling, accurate check out procedure, register reconciliation and customer service Monitor sales activities to ensure that customers are satisfied with their purchases Training new employees in the duties and responsibilities associated with their position within the company Monitoring employee performance to ensure that they are performing their responsibilities to meet and or exceed company standards Monitoring productivity and attendance Maintain a clean an organized work area, as well as monitor the lot and lot attendants. Ensuring that merchandise is properly displayed and that prices are clearly visible to customer. Supervises the day-to-day operations of their team, escalating issues to the appropriate level of support and/or leadership when necessary Complies with all established company policies and procedures while upholding the security and confidentiality of documents and data Maintain safe, secure, and healthy work environment by establishing, following, and enforcing sanitation standards and procedures; complying with legal regulations; maintaining security systems Coordinate with other departments to ensure efficient operation of the front-end Resolve customer complaints in a professional and timely manner Other duties as assigned
Physical Demands:
Ability to stock merchandise from store receiving to shelving; ability to place product, weighing up to 45 pounds Regularly required to sit, stand, bend, reach, push, pull, lift, carry, and walk about the store Must be able to perform duties with or without reasonable accommodations Flexible Work Schedule/ Weekends & Holidays a must

Education and Experience:
High School Diploma/ associate’s degree a must A minimum of 2 years of progressive experience in a retail/Grocery/Food Service environment A combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge Prior management experience preferred
