POSITION SUMMARY :

The Store Supervisor helps manage retail operations, supports the Store Manager, and ensures the store runs smoothly. The supervisor will be assigned to a specific store but must have the flexibility to travel to other stores for coverage as needed. The supervisor will be focusing on efficient use of resources to meet organizational goals. The Supervisor duties include following guidelines to ensure customer satisfaction, boosting sales, and properly stocking the store with quality, correctly priced, and rotated merchandise.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS 1.

Oversee all phases of store operations, including, but not limited to warehouse operations, merchandising, scheduling and payroll, pricing, maintenance of equipment, truck operations, storage requirements, banking procedures, and forms of advertisement used in the business. 2. Proper accounting of all financial transactions made. 3. Ensure that stores under his or her control are kept neat, clean, and maintained in a manner customary to retail establishments. 4. Train retail associates in their respective positions, duties and responsibilities. 5. Inform the General Manager of any situation that may affect the corporation financially, legally, morally, or politically. 6. Coach and train retail associates on effectively performing their assigned jobs per the job description to ensure productivity, wearing the proper attire, having proper grooming, and following company guidelines to provide excellent customer service. 7. Ensure that all policies and procedures set forth by the General Manager and Board of Directors are practiced, followed, and in place. Forms required will be completed legibly, accurately, and timely. 8. Manage cash paid outs to minimize the frequency of these occurrences and ensure proper record keeping. 9. Provide support to store managers and supervisors with hiring, coaching, discipline, and terminations. 10. Manage store deposits as needed following the proper guidelines in place. 11. Resolve customer situations and store incidents including injuries. 12. Provide coverage for any vacant positions as needed.

JOB REQUIREMENTS 1.

High school diploma or its equivalent. College degree is a plus. 2. A minimum of two years of experience in a supervisory roll preferably in the retail industry. 3. Must have working knowledge of computer systems and software, telephone systems, and cash register systems. 4. Experienced in cash handling, counterfeit detection procedures and safety procedures. 5. Travel to multiple store locations as needed. 6. Follow and apply company-wide policies, guidelines, and procedures. 7. Other duties assigned as needed.

SKILLS & ABILITIES 1.

Ability to understand and physically fill for any vacancy or position in any of the stores. 2. Ability to communicate effectively at all level within the organization. 3. Ability to work in different environmental conditions required for each position. 4. Ability to lift, push, & pull up to 50lbs. 5. Ability to stand for extended periods of time. 6. Must have excellent attention to detail. 7. Must have excellent organizational skills. 8. Ability to coach & train team members. 9. Ability to work rotating shifts as needed.
