Description:

Provides supervisionand leadership to the patient care units.

Specific functionsinclude:

collaborates and supports manager with staff evaluations,patient flow, staff and family education, serves as patient/guestservice ambassador and assists with problem solving on tour ofduty. Additionally, coordinates staffing and nursing assignmentsfor current and oncoming shift. Participates in hourly rounding andensures compliance of same. Ensures that services are providedwithin the philosophy and objectives as well as the policies andprocedures of the hospital and Baptist Health South Florida.

Estimated pay range for this position is $45.34 – $60.30 / hourdepending on experience.

Qualifications:

Degrees:

Bachelors of Sciencein Nursing – BSNRNs hired after 2/2012 with an Associates Degreehave 5 years to complete the BSN.RNs hired prior to 2/2012 are notrequired to have a BSN to continue in their non-leadership role asan RN.

Licenses & Certifications:

FL RN License requiredBLSrequiredACLS, PALS, or NRP as required by unit assignment within 6months of promotion or hire.

Certification in area of specialtywithin 2 years of signing, promotion or hire.

Experience:

Minimum 2years of Clinical RN experience in an acute care setting.

PriorMed/Surg or Neuro or Multispecialty experience preferred.
