THE ROLEAs the Senior Director of Services PortfolioManagement, you will be responsible for driving the development,launch, and management of Temenos’ services portfolio which aresold to both Temenos Customers and Partners. Your role will coverthe entire lifecycle of services, from concept to optimization,ensuring that we deliver the right services to our customers atevery stage of their journey, from planning and design toimplementation, operations, and optimization.

You will work closelywith cross-functional teams including Product Management, Sales,Marketing, Project Delivery and Operations to ensure that Temenos’services offerings align with market needs and customerexpectations. This role also includes leading New ProductIntroductions (NPI), developing service propositions, definingpricing strategies, creating sales enablement tools, and ensuringthe continuous evolution of services. A key component of the rolewill be managing the sunsetting of outdated services and optimizingthe portfolio’s performance in the market.

OPPORTUNITIES
Portfolio Strategy & Development:

Lead the development andmanagement of the services portfolio across its entire lifecycle,from ideation through to retirement. Identify market opportunities, trends, and customer needs todefine compelling service propositions. Work with internal teams (Product, Sales, Operations, DeliveryTeams, etc.) to ensure that services are designed, costed, andpriced to deliver value to customers and profitability toTemenos. New Product Introduction (NPI): Own the end-to-end NPI processfor all services, including market research, propositiondevelopment, costing, pricing, and service design. Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely andsuccessful launch of new services, on schedule and withinbudget.

Sales Enablement & Training:

Develop and deliver salesenablement programs to ensure that the global sales teams arewell-equipped to sell the services portfolio. Create and maintain comprehensive training materials,presentations, and sales collateral that clearly articulate thevalue of Temenos’ services. Work with Sales leadership to monitor and improve salesperformance, ensuring alignment between sales targets and portfolioofferings.

Marketing & Communication:

Lead the creation of marketingstrategies for the services portfolio, including developingpromotional content, collateral, and go-to-market plans, includingany campaigns to encourage growth. Collaborate with Marketing teams to ensure consistent andeffective messaging across all channels, highlighting the value andcompetitive advantages of the services.

Customer Lifecycle Management:

Ensure that the servicesportfolio supports customers at every stage of their journey withTemenos

  • from initial planning, design, implementation, operating,and optimizing of their environments.

Monitor the success of services post-launch, ensuringcontinuous value delivery and customer satisfaction.

Portfolio Performance & Optimization:

Regularly assess theperformance of all services in the portfolio, using data-driveninsights to optimize services for better customer outcomes andbusiness impact. Manage the sunsetting of old or underperforming services,ensuring that all stakeholders are informed and that propertransitions are in place.

Stakeholder Engagement & Reporting:

Provide regular reports onportfolio performance to senior leadership, highlighting successes,challenges, and areas for improvement. Maintain strong relationships with internal and externalstakeholders, ensuring alignment between service offerings andbusiness objectives, including customers and Temenos deliverypartners.

SKILLS Minimum 8-10 years of experience in services portfoliomanagement, product management, or a similar role, preferably inthe enterprise software or banking technology space. Proven track record of leading successful service launches andmanaging service portfolios through all phases of thelifecycle. Experience with New Product Introduction (NPI) processes,pricing strategies, and sales enablement. Strong understanding of customer lifecycle management and theability to design services that address customer needs at eachstage.

Skills & Competencies:

Excellent strategic thinking with theability to translate market insights into actionable servicepropositions. A keen interest in “horizon scanning” the banking softwareindustry and competitive positions for new market trends inservices. Strong leadership and excellent communication skills, capableof influencing stakeholders across all levels of theorganization. Ability to work in a fast-paced, global, and cross-functionalenvironment, with a focus on results. Strong analytical skills and experience using data to drivedecision-making and optimize service offerings. Proficiency in service marketing, including the creation ofcollateral and sales tools to drive adoption and salesperformance. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science,or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).VALUES Care
