Duties Lead and manage store operations, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures. Supervise and train staff, including assistant managers and clerks, to deliver exceptional customer service. Oversee inventory management, including stock levels, ordering, and loss prevention strategies. Utilize POS systems to track sales data and manage cash handling processes effectively. Implement sales strategies to achieve store targets while fostering a positive work environment. Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to team members. Ensure the store is clean, organized, and visually appealing to customers at all times. Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly to maintain satisfaction. Skills Proven experience in retail management or as an assistant manager in a grocery store setting. Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. Proficient in inventory management techniques and cash handling procedures. Familiarity with POS systems for efficient transaction processing. Excellent communication skills; bilingual candidates are highly desirable. Ability to lead a team, motivate staff, and foster a collaborative work environment.
