Job Summary:

Gallery Dept. is seeking an experienced, customer service-oriented Store Manager to oversee daily operations at our retail store in the heart of Miami, Florida. The primary responsibilities for this role are store profitability, sales, customer experience, and leading/supervising/coaching all retail sales associates. The successful candidate will be a strong, energetic leader with excellent communication skills and be well organized. The right leader will engage employees through motivation while leading by example. Reporting to the member of the executive team responsible for revenue, this role will collaborate on setting revenue goals and implementing retail store strategies. The candidate will have a strong understanding of the fashion/art world, the community, and the high-end industry clients we cater to.

Duties/Responsibilities:

Ability to deliver extraordinary client experiences Maintain a strong and positive relationship with clients Be accountable for store sales, services, and client experience initiatives Create a positive work environment where the team can excel Train, and oversee sales/inventory team Oversee store floor experience Lead by example by being punctual, following company dress code and proper etiquette Oversee the organization of the store – inventory, supplies Oversee the organization of the back stockroom daily Oversee the cleanliness of the store throughout the day and communicate/delegate needs within the team Lead weekly staff meetings to ensure all associates stay informed Work in partnership with LA Management team to ensure smooth retail operations Manage store budgets and maintain financial records Report weekly to the member of the executive team responsible for revenue with financial records and team updates Oversee stock levels and order new items when required, or overstocked, communicating needs with the member of the executive team responsible for revenue Address customer complaints and issues in a professional manner Handle staff conflicts, complaints, and issues in a professional manner and inform the member of the executive team responsible for revenue Basic product, packing presentation and handling skills of purchased clothing Efficient and accurate scanning of product Knowledge of the most frequent PLU’s Accurately enter tenders at POS Process sales transactions through POS/Shopify system Ensure compliance with store health and safety regulations Requirements Skills /
