The Ritz-Carlton Coconut Grove, Miami, located at 3300 SW 27th Ave,Miami, FL, 33133 currently has the following opportunity: Supervisor-Casual Dining (150000GV): Ensure staff is working together as a team to ensure optimumservice and that guest needs are met. Inspect grooming and attireof staff, and rectify any deficiencies. Complete opening andclosing duties including setting up necessary supplies and tools,cleaning all equipment and areas, locking doors, etc. Inspectstorage areas for organization, use of FIFO, and cleanliness.

Complete scheduled inventories and stock and requisition necessarysupplies. Monitor dining rooms for seating availability, service,safety, and well being of guests. Complete work orders formaintenance repairs. Assist management in hiring, training,scheduling, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, and motivatingand coaching employees; and serve as a role model and first pointof contact of the Guarantee of Fair Treatment/Open Door Policyprocess. Follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures;report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to manager;and complete safety training and certifications. Ensure uniform andpersonal appearance are clean and professional, maintainconfidentiality of proprietary information, and protect companyassets. Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to companystandards, anticipate and address guests’ service needs, assistindividuals with disabilities, and thank guests with genuineappreciation. Speak with others using clear and professionallanguage. Develop and maintain positive working relationships withothers, support team to reach common goals, and listen and respondappropriately to the concerns of other employees. Ensure adherenceto quality expectations and standards; and identify, recommend,develop, and implement new ways to increase organizationalefficiency, productivity, quality, safety, and/or cost-savings.

Stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time. Move, lift,carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to10 pounds without assistance.
